Training for Civil Service Examinations

The Preparatory Course in Administration, Justice Systems and Safety trains students to sit the national Category A civil service examination. The one-year program has classes which are specially tailored to the various types of examinations, and class size is small to facilitate student-teacher interactions. Expectations are high, but students receive support from the academic staff throughout the course.

Preparation for the CRFPA Law Examination (Institut d’Études Judiciaires)

The Institut d’Études Judiciaires (Institute of Judicial Studies) of Université Paris Cité prepares students to sit the CRFPA law exam. This entrance exam is necessary to enter the Paris Law School (École de formation du barreau de Paris, EFB). 

 

In order to be registered for the CRFPA law examination preparatory course at the Institut d’Études Judiciaires, candidates must:

hold a degree in French Law (M1 or M2) from a French university, or a degree in European Law from a European university, or a diploma from Sciences Po or Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris in Law and Legal Systems or Economic Law

OR

be a registered law student at Université Paris Cité or Paris Dauphine, or have successfully completed the 5th year of their Sciences Po program in the same year they apply to sit the CRFPA exam (Article 2 of the Decree dated October 17, 2016 on the curriculum and methods of applying to sit the CRFPA exam)

OR

have been unsuccessful in sitting the CRFPA exam this year as registered students of our Institute, or unsuccessful in the admission and selection phases of the CRFPA for the current year before being able to reregister for a new session (see the CRFPA section).
